Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy

1 · Booking and payment
The seller and controller is a separate legal entity according to the booked object (stated below and in the booking confirmation). A booking is created upon its confirmation in the Smoobu reservation system and payment of the stay price by payment card (via a secure payment gateway) or by bank transfer. When paying by card, the booking is confirmed immediately; for bank transfers we hold the dates for 48 hours until the payment is credited. We send the booking confirmation together with the tax document by e-mail without undue delay after receiving payment.

2 · Prices and fees
All prices are stated in euros and are final for the stated number of guests and nights. A one-off cleaning fee and the local accommodation tax under the municipality's valid generally binding regulation may be added to the stay price; their amounts are shown in the booking summary before its binding confirmation. The price does not include optional supplementary services that the guest selects separately.
3 · Cancellation terms
You can cancel your stay free of charge no later than 7 days before the day of arrival — we will refund the full amount paid. For cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival, or for a no-show, the cancellation fee is governed by the terms stated in the booking confirmation. Please notify us of a cancellation by e-mail at booking@tatravillas.sk.
Tip for guests: the dates of a stay can usually be moved — write to us and we will try to find an alternative date without a cancellation fee.
4 · Arrival and departure
Tatra objects (Vila Vlasta, Vila Mudroň, Lúčnica Apartments): self check-in from 15:00, check-out by 11:00. Zlatý Potok Apartments in Zvolen: self check-in from 14:00, check-out by 10:00. Thanks to self check-in you can arrive at any evening hour — we send the access code and instructions in advance by e-mail. Earlier arrival or later departure is possible by arrangement and subject to availability.
5 · Guests' rights and obligations
The guest is obliged to use the apartment with ordinary care, to observe the house rules and quiet hours, and the number of accommodated persons must not exceed the capacity stated in the booking. The guest is liable for damage caused to the furnishings or the object to the extent of the actual damage. The apartments are non-smoking; a breach may incur a deep-cleaning fee.
6 · Complaints and dispute resolution
Please report any shortcomings to us without undue delay during your stay so that we can resolve them immediately. The consumer has the right to contact the seller with a request for remedy and, in the event of dissatisfaction, to use alternative dispute resolution (ADR) through the relevant body, or the European Commission's ODR platform. The supervisory authority is the Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI). The processing of personal data is governed by a separate privacy policy.
